    Design - from all angles

A blog about design, though not in the strictest sense of the word. Personal musings of a web and graphic designer who sees the world through Pantone-colored glasses and a 960 grid.

Designing for print vs. designing for web

    Nyla Smith - Wednesday, August 17, 2011

Being a Graphic Designer means I design for both print and web. While there are many obvious similarities—design principles don't change, I use many of the same software programs— there are differences between the two that people may not be aware of. Now, I don't just mean myself, I mean sometimes the rest of the world is slow to catch up on what designers/developers may think is the best thing since sliced cake. (Cake is much tastier than bread, don't you think?) More

    Fonts that make me giddy

    Nyla Smith - Monday, January 24, 2011

I can't say that about many things in life. Those who know me personally see me as a laid back, calm, pretty level-headed person. Very few acquaintances have ever seen me giddy about anything.  More
