Quality, Speed, and Price. Choose 3?

Nyla Batts Smith - Wednesday, August 31, 2011

Nope, pick two. You may have heard it before; it's certainly not a new concept. (There are plenty of variations floating about: quality, time, money; quality, service, cost; good, fast, cheap..it's all the same.) But I often find myself explaining to clients that as much as I would love to provide top-notch stellar quality at lightning-fast speed at the lowest rock-bottom price, I can't. Nobody can, without sacrificing something themselves. Between quality, speed, and price, you're going to have to pick two to optimize. Gosh, life is just full of tough decisions, isn't it? Let's look at "a day in the life of Jane" to illustrate this point. More

    It all begins with you.

    The Process

Our approach toward any project is first and foremost understanding what your goals are. This is the most important stage—everything else builds upon it. It's better to spend some time in this stage than to jump right into creating something that just "looks good." Because remember, while "looking good" is an obvious requirement, it's not the ultimate goal.

    1. Define who you are.
This includes where you see yourself going (In other words, what are your short-term and long-term goals? What is your vision?).

    2. Let's talk about your needs.
If you already know what you want, submit a quote request. If you'd like to chat first, just email me and I'll be in touch.

    3. I'll map it out.
From my understanding of what you need, I'll lay out a proposed plan, including estimated timeline and cost.

    4. We get started!
If you then decide to proceed, we get down to business by continuing to flesh out your vision. Depending on the scope of the project, we may break the project down into phases, with your approval required after each stage. Step by step, we'll get it done!
